Within the retrofitting of a production facility in Krosno Odrzanskie, Poland Homanit commissioned us with the assembly of a Siempelkamp forming and press line for the production of ultra-thin HDF.
Mechanical assembly comprised the resination system including tanks and piping, the forming line as well as the 28-m ContiRoll® press and the standard ancillary equipment, such as secondary heating system, hydraulics and fire extinguishing equipment. Moreover, we assembled and installed the press extraction system and the press-fumes treatment system as well as the cooling and stacking line.
The large components supplied by Siempelkamp, some of which had already been preassembled, weighed as much as 35 t and were handled and put into their place by the heavy-duty cranes provided by our company. When the press was ready for use, it weighed more than 1,000 t.
